AMSI National Medical Case Competition 2018

The Association of Medical Students - Ireland (AMSI) is excited to announce the date of the upcoming National Medical Case Competition! Join us on Friday, April 20th at 5:30-7:00pm at the Royal College of Surgeons in Ireland (RCSI). The competition will take place in the O'Flanagan Lecture Theatre located at 123 St Stephens Green, Dublin 2.

We are pleased to introduce our competitors who all succeeded in the first round competitions at their respective medical schools. Each of them have moved on to the national competition to win the title of this year's AMSI National Medical Case Competition winner!

Carlos Sebastian Gracias (Royal College of Surgeons in Ireland)
Presenting "The role of genetic testing in diagnosing Catecholaminergic Polymorphic Ventricular Tachycardia (CPVT)"
Area: Cardiology

The presentations will be maximum 7 minutes in length, with up to 3 minutes of questioning from the judges. A special thank you to our judges who will challenge the clinical knowledge of our competitors and critique their case presentations.

Refreshments will be served at the event for all participants and attendees. Students from both clinical & preclinical years are encouraged to attend the event.
